Sport: Track Cycling

Terms

  • Drink: Beer or Mixed drink with 1.5 shots / 16 oz.
  • Take a drink: Take a normal sip from your Drink
  • Rider: Before the race, pick rider/team to follow and drink for
  • Opponent: The other rider(s)/team(s)

Special Rules

  • Bike Geek: Any time someone asks a bike/race question someone must call out “Bike Geek”, the questioner has to drink until someone finishes explaining the answer. The ‘bike geek’ who explains either takes a shot or chooses someone in the group to take their shot.
  • Standoff: like the track stand standoff in the sprint, players can challenge each other to a standoff at the beginning of a race. A standoff consists of both players chugging a large beer. The first person to pause or finish their beer looses the stand off, and must take a penalty (either taking the underdog rider, taking a shot, or removing a piece of clothing, etc.)
  • Draught Line: Any time a “draught line” is called for by the rules (or a player) everyone starts drinking. Each player stops drinking in order of their riders. So the first player to stop drinking is the rider in first place at this moment. When his/her drink is on the table, the second player stops drinking and so on. The first player can drink as little or as much as he/she wants but must stop before half their drink is finished.
  • SARS: If you see an athlete wearing a mask to avoid air pollution. Everyone yell SARS (or other funny phrase) and take a drink.
